NASA Swarmathon

The NASA Swarmathon is a challenge to develop cooperative robotics to revolutionize space exploration. The Second Annual Swarmathon occurred April 18 – 20, 2017 at NASA Kennedy Space Center. Students from Minority Serving Universities and Community Colleges are challenged to develop search algorithms for robotic swarms. Swarmathon participation:

  1. improved student’s skills in robotics and computer science and
  2. furthered advance technology for future NASA space exploration missions.

CSU Swarming Eagles: 2017 NASA Swarmathon Team

The Coppin State University Swarming Eagles Team competed for the first time this year, hosted by the CoSc 420 Special Topics Course taught by Dr. Hatley.
