Well, the 2nd day of the semester has ended. Congratulations – you are getting through the week! Hats off to you for facing this challenging semester.

Challenging already – well, yes, the year has been challenging before the semester even started. But, we can get through it – together.

If you are like Dr. Hatley, you immediately wanted to find ways to decompress from the academic part of your day this week – so you can complete important nonacademic tasks. Activities to try are yoga, breathing techniques, exercise, brisk walks, etc.

But, one activity you may find surprising is a genre called “calming games.” Calming games are designed to do just that calm you …and bring peace, so you can decompress …and move on.

Your objective is to consume and grow – sort of like what you should be doing in your Math & CS courses.

You play by controlling the flowing object with your mouse and pressing the left mouse button to accelerate.
